New staff

Ahmet Acar is a new postdoc in the Brennan lab.  Ahmet completed his PhD under the supervision of Akira Orimo at the Paterson Institute and will be working on Developing robust markers for Notch signalling in breast cancer

Diana Ruiz (Hilda Diana Alejandra Ruiz Nivia) has joined the Baldock lab as a technician. Diana was previously working in Paul Bishop's lab.

Peter Bell from the Briggs lab who successfully defended his PhD thesis, The trafficking of mutant matrillin-3 is not affected by the deletion of matrillin-1 in a mouse model of multiple epiphyseal dysplasia (EMD5 type), on 22 March. David Young (Newcastle) was the external examiner and Clair Baldock was the internal examiner.
